The Mission of the St. Athanasius Church Choir is to perform the hymns of our Faith with love, reverence, and dedication; to sing praises to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and all the Saints; to lead the parishioners in hymns and prayers of our Orthodox faith; to be stewards of our hymns for future generations; to strive for excellence in our performances, to be humble while learning about our hymns and faith; to bring music to as many as possible; and to feel the love in our hearts as we sing with our fellow parishioners. 

The Choir performs the hymns of the church every Sunday during the Divine Liturgy, for church services during Great and Holy Lent, for the Resurrection services, and for other special holy days.  To be a member of the Senior Choir, you must be at least 16 years of age and willing to attend rehearsals. Rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm, and each Sunday morning at 9:00 am, in preparation for that day.  Additional rehearsals may be added for special occasions.  The Youth Choir of our Parish, 4th and 5th graders from our Sunday Church School program, sing the hymns of our Chuch on Sundays.  Please encourage your children to participate and lift up their voices to God!!!!
